Living Namaste: Bowing To The Beauty and Strength of Nature

Updated: Jan 23

As a travel photographer, I have curtailed my travel abroad to find what is beautiful all around me...but....

As the wildfires burn in California, I look with heartfelt horror at the loss of life and nature through roaring destruction...but...

I am awe struck at the selflessness of those rushing in to control the spread and restore the spirits of those effected. This is the true meaning of Living Namaste...bowing, helping, being there, being one.

Here in the east, I can go out and appreciate the beauty around me from summer. I wait with anticipation as the air grows cooler and fall is ushering in golden colors but I need to do so much be one with those on the west coast. I need to make my vote count for the protection of the environment. I need to contribute in whatever way I can to those on the forefront putting their life on the line. These moments call us to not look away but look deeply at what is, what could be and what will be with all of our help.
